A classic of every year at this time is here: the 2023 sports agenda, with which we prepare for the year that is about to begin. After chaining the Eurocup and the World Cup, the football planet will focus its attention on the Women’s World Cup and the Final Four of the Nations League. Scariolo’s Spain will defend its title in the Basketball World Cup, Nadal will try to enlarge his legend in the Grand Slam with Alcaraz, Badosa or Mugurza in search of glory, Formula 1 and MotoGP promise strong emotions… you see marking dates in the sports calendar 2023!

Sports calendar 2023

Little by little we have been learning about the main sporting events of 2023. The federations and organizers have been publishing them in recent months, although there are still some whose date is not official. Not all of them have an assigned venue either, and some scheduled in China have already been canceled or moved to another venue. The experience of recent years has taught us that changes of date or venue can occur at any time.

With the sports calendar you won’t miss any big event this year. Below we leave you the key dates on the sports agenda, the best sporting events 2023 in Spain and in the world: the Euroleague Final Four, the tennis Grand Slams, the great tours and monuments of the cycling season, the Super Bowl from the NFL, Moto GP, Formula 1… Events always offer us interesting sports betting and strong emotions.

January

Three classic events to start the year: ski jumping, Dakar and darts. The first month of the year will help us to crown the new handball and field hockey world champions, and there will also be the Australian Open tennis. At the domestic level, we have the Spanish Soccer Super Cup that will be played in Saudi Arabia for another year and the excitement of the Copa del Rey.

In the second month of the year, three key events could not be missing: the NFL Super Bowl, the ACB Cup and the NBA All Star Weekend. Also, these two coincide in an exciting weekend of basketball. We will also see the first days of the Six Nations and Real Madrid in search of the Club World Cup. It will be the month in which the Champions League returns.

March smells like gasoline. Formula 1 and Moto GP begin, as well as the first big events of the cycling calendar on the road. Spain will seek the third European Championship for women’s football, and we will close the month with the always vibrant Copa de la Reina for basketball.

The big question is, will Nadal’s 14th Roland Garros arrive? We arrived at the summer, and with it two essential appointments for these dates.
